Business Analyst (all levels)

ABOUT THE JOB 

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team. The BA is responsible for defining the project and task requirements and deliverables to support technology projects of all sizes. Projects involve working on a large system implementations, incremental improvements and ongoing support. The position is expected to work with clients, sales, account managers, developers and support staff across the company and you will be expected to manage several projects at once with competing demands and priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and document business processes, both in written and visual form (process flows)

  • Analyze, compile and document requirements for new or modified software application functionality

  • Represent user needs to the technical development team

  • Create Use Cases and review development and production software for correct functionality

  • Document issues and desired changes in technical detail sufficient for developers tocreate or modify application code, schema, database structures, screen layouts, workflow, etc.

  • Ability to analyze processes to understand pros and cons, opportunities for improvement and establish high level structured plans to implement changes

  • High-level project management including updating and tracking key reporting documentation such as project plans and tasks lists

  • Providing regular project updates to internal staff and to clients

  • Establish trusted relationships with client teams and interface with stakeholders across the business to gather information, gain diverse perspectives, and deepen subject matter expertise

  • Assist with ad hoc strategic and research-based inquiries such as performing high-level analysis, creating strategic materials, and evaluating industry trends/systems and researching best practices

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Formal Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Technology or Business

  • 2+ years of business consulting and or process improvement

  • Knowledge of Odoo is an advantage

Expectations:

  • You will be given a chance to learn Odoo Functional.

  • You are expected to pass the Odoo Functional test within your first 3 months.

  • If you pass the test, you will be given full time employment with benefits.

  • You will be signing a Bond for 2 Years at least, which is renewable as and when required.

  • As the majority of clients are in the US, you will be required to work on US hours.
