The SME Repair Order Status feature enhances the repair management process in Odoo by introducing a tracking mechanism for status changes. This feature specifically focuses on capturing the date when a repair order transitions from the "Under Repair" status to the "Repaired" status.

Configuration:

  1. Navigate to SettingsSilverdale ExtensionsSilverdale Repairs Extension.
  2. Activate the SME: Repair Order Status Log option.

Functionality:

  1. When a repair order's status changes from "Under Repair" to "Repaired," the system automatically records the transition date.
  2. This logged data provides a clear history of status updates, enabling repair teams and managers to track repair timelines effectively.
