Mass Update BOM Components

Managing Bill of Materials (BOM) is a critical task in any manufacturing process, and ensuring that BOMs are updated efficiently can greatly impact production accuracy and speed. The Mass Update BOM Components feature enhances Odoo’s manufacturing capabilities by adding a set of powerful actions that allow users to quickly update BOM components and operations through a series of easy-to-use wizards.

This feature introduces four distinct actions:

1. Part Purge Wizard Action:
   This action allows users to select a BOM and open a wizard where they can remove specific components. The wizard presents the selected BOM and provides a field labeled "Parts to be Removed". After selecting the part to be purged and confirming, the selected component is removed from the BOM.
2. Part Replace Wizard Action:
   This action enables users to replace a component in the BOM with another product. The wizard shows the selected BOM and includes two fields: "The Product Being Replaced" and "The Product Replacing the Original Product." When the user confirms, the selected product in the BOM is replaced with the new component.
3. Add BOM Line Wizard Action:
   This action lets users add new components to the BOM. The wizard displays fields such as Cutted Type, Product, Type, Cutted Quantity, Product Quantity, and Product UOM. Once the user confirms, the selected product is added as a new component to the BOM.
4. Operation Purge Wizard Action:
   This action allows users to remove operations from a BOM. The wizard includes fields like Display Name and Work Center. By selecting a work center and confirming, the associated operations are removed from the BOM.

This feature drastically simplifies the process of managing complex BOMs, making it easy to keep them updated and accurate, which in turn improves production efficiency and reduces errors.
