Formula BoM Type

The Formula BoM Type module introduces advanced Bill of Materials (BoM) management tailored for industries relying on product formulas, like chemical manufacturing. This enhancement adds new BoM types, tabs, and user roles to streamline formula-based production processes.

Key Features:

1. New BoM Type – "Formula": Create BoMs based on product formulas, enabling dynamic component calculation using percentages.
2. "Formula" Tab on Product Form: A dedicated tab where chemists can define product components, their percentages, and units of measure (UoM).
3. Role-Based Access: A new Chemist user group (inheriting Admin rights) with exclusive access to Formula BoM features, ensuring data security and proper role segregation.
4. Automatic BoM Component Calculation: The system auto-generates BoM components based on the percentages set in the Formula tab, relative to the total finish weight.
5. Enhanced BoM Form:
   Weight of Product: Displays the finish product’s base weight. 
   Finish Product Weight: Automatically calculated as (Weight of Product × BoM Quantity).
   Component Quantities: Calculated based on defined percentages and total finish weight.

Example Use Case:

For a product with a base weight of 100 units and a BoM quantity of 2, the Finish Product Weight becomes 200. If a component is set at 10% in the Formula tab, it will be added to the BoM with a quantity of 20 (10% of 200).
